This book was developed by Eric Raymond using TEX 3.14159 (C version 6.1) and a customized version of GNU's Texinfo package. The book was composed by Windfall Software (Paul C. Anagnostopoulos and Joe Snowden), who converted the master files to ZzTEX, typeset and formatted the book, and then produced PostScript files for the printer. The text typeface is Jaeger Daily News, with MathTime used for mathematics. Computer Modern Typewriter is used for examples and Adobe Phonetic for pronunciation keys. This book corresponds to version 4.0.0 of the on-line Jargon File.

Printed and bound in the United States of America.
