SUMMARY ANALYSIS
REMOTE VIEWING (RV) SESSION CC &A
1. (S) This report documents a Remote Viewing (RV) session
conducted in compliance with a request from SOD, J3, OJCS,
Pentagon, Washington, D.C. The purpose of the session was
to provide information relevant to the hostage situation in
the U.S. Embassy compound in Teheran, Iran.
2. (S) The remote 'viewer's impressions of the target are
provided as raw intelligence data and as such have not been
subjected to any intermediate analysis, evaluation or collation.
Interpretation and use of the information provided is the
responsibility of the requestor.

3. (S) The protocol used for this session is detailed in the
document, Grill Flame Protocol, AMSAA Applied Remote Viewing
Protocol (8), undated.
4. (S) Following is a transcript of the viewer's impressions
during the remote viewing session. At TAB A are drawings made
by the remote viewer reference his impressions of the target
site. At TAB B is target cueing information provided the
remote viewer.

          #1 It's ... ah ... so large room, only one door coming
 into it and there's ... ah ... (mumble) thirds of

 round, and it's got a...an overhang roof on one

          #1 Emm ... they go in this door that's on the right.
 It's the right hand ... ah ... right hand half of the
 building, so, the right hand half is only one
 floor, and there's ... ah ... the left hand half is
 two floors. I see ... ah ... see part of the fence.
 It's ... ah ... close to a fence. It's close to the
 wall and the fence of the compound. It's towards
 the rear.

          #1 I'm seeing ... looks like the side entrance. It's
 a patio or something.

          #1 It's ... ah ... (mumble) 70 by 50 feet ... 70 by 40
  feet.

              ide. It's in-ah ... clear ... ah ... it's in a

  #66 Move back inside now to the area where Alan is
  located and search the area for other personnel.
  PAUSE
          #1 There's ... ah ... it's ... there's ... ah ... five or six
  or more people. One person has ... ah... real long
  black hair, is a very heavy person ... it's a very
  round face. That's the only one I can see.
          #66 OK. Now move away from that immediate area to
  other areas of the building, searching for people.
  PAUSE
  #1 There's ... ah ... (mumble) ... hang on a second.
  PAUSE
  Get the impression there's ... ah ... there's two or
  three guard people in the same room and ... ah ...
  in the access coridor there's another guard, but...
  ah...l don't know. I had a strong impressioi,
  there's ... ah ... there's more hostages somewhere
  else in the building, but...ah ... I ... ah...I canL
  find them now, i think I lost my...ah ... my...ah ...

          #66 Well there's'a great deal of noise outside the
room here.
          #1 Page 1, I'm going to ... @h ... see if I can
reconstruct the view I had of this building. I
felt like I was standing 80 feet away to the
side right of the building, and the perspective
is going to be a little funny on this, but this is
the true way that it looked to me for some reason.
PAUSE
And this perspective or this ... this sizing here
I think is...ah...maybe variable from the way it
actually is but I think the general form of the
building or its shape; its style of construction
is ... @h ... accurate. I don't know why but the
roof ... the over hung roof for some reason appeared
to be very substantial to me for some reason;
grotesque almost, so it may be significant that that
over hang, the flat over hang roof is important or
very significant. I would get that impression that ...
ah ... that may be why I recall it so much, but the ...
/la-fi .. black square on the side is about where th
Goor was and it was literally a very simple doorw y

the impression this was a side entrance or some-
thing and there was a guard where the two circles
were and they're talking to one another and I got
the impression of a stone wall on my left with a
gate on top.
          #66 And which wall ... is this the wall that you thought
might he the compound?
          #1 The fence, yea, the compound fence, and back here
I saw a tree, but this is stone out here ... hard
stone or earth. I (joL the feeling I ... earth
compound ... no, noL compound, what Would You call
it-patio. Fla, patio ... p-a-t-e-o ... You'll 113V0
to tolacrate that I'm afraid. I'll correct that.
But that's ... that's the view where I-when I went
outside the building ... that's the view, the
impression I had and I got ... I sensed that going
from the location of the hostages inside this

 building to the exterior of this building is a very
 simple, straight forward process. It's like going
 through one door making a left, walking 15 feet and
 you're outside. Very ... very straight forward area
 in that the half of the building with the arrows is
 where the hostages are. I got the feeling like in
 this room I was looking down one wall of this room
 and there were no windows in this wall ... call this
 wall-and this wall the room went over like this and
 there was a dividers going down like this sectioning
 this room off, and behind these dividers were cots
 or something for these ... 2h ... these hostages. And
      on this side there was ... ah ... the guards were over
 11~re. And this was ... the black door was the
 trance door, and to the right of it was a. .. like 6D
 QPgular men's room and a women's room.
          #66 OK. Is that entrance the outside door or is it a
 hallway?
           #1 No ... no, that's a hallway ... it goes to a hallway. f
 sense that were-there were windows over here on
 that wall and windows this way, but no windows that
 way; there was no windows on the side the hostages
 were against. I also got the feeling like there
 might be back up in this area ... was ... ah ... they had
 V~ stacked furniture or something back in here and that
 t is was like ... this room has a function ... had been
 some kind of receiving area-like an area where ...
 ah ... a crowd of people could be accommodated for some
 form of processing; I don't....you know ... I don't kno
 what that might be, it's just a feeling.
          #66 OK. Was there another office area you ... you
 mentioned on your way out of the building or
 something was ...
          #1 Yea ... going out ... assuming and-and I can't-oh,
 that's page 2, page 3. Now, I'll tell ya, I'm
 assuming that this room is a square; we'll call it
 room A, and that-ah...
 #66 Room A then is the room in 2?
          #1 Yea, on page 2. 1 get the impression that-ah ...
 there's a hallway-this being the entire ground
 floor-that there is a hallway that goes like
 this ... this being the entrance to this room. Over

 where the. bathrooms would be in this hallway are
 steps going up and on the inside of this room where
 the two arrows arc are the bathrooms, but they
 might be under the steps or something and that goes
 up the second floor, and ... off this hallway are
 other offices or something, and there's 2 second
 floor, and the second floor is identical to the B ...
 the other half ... what I'll call label B half of this
 building, and before I started getting 2 little
 screwed up in my thoughts, I got the distinct
 impression like there might be other hostages in
 that B half of the building, somewhere. Where, I
 don't know, but I also got the impression that there
 is a guard somewhere in this corridor. This is the
 entrance door. No basement ... I didn't sense there
 was any basement in this building. That might be
 important for singling the building out. The
 building was white; most predominant feature was
 it looked like a ... ah ... house boat with an over
 hang roof; a lot of windows on two sides. That's
 essentially it.

          #1 (Mumble) I felt like I Was back in ... I don't know
 what I mean by that-but back in the compound,
 you know, not in a centralized area of the compound
 but up against the, you know, maybe it's because I
 got the impression of the fence; the COMPOL-110 fence
 or something, but I feel like it's off to one side.
 #66 OK. So you think this building is on the compound?
 #1 Yea, I-I just feel like it's on the compound for
 some reason. Very strong feeling that this is on
 the compound.

    TARGET CUING INFORMATION
    REMOTE VIEWING (RV) SESSION CC62
         (S) The viewer has been exposed to open source news media informa-
    tion, classified overhead imagery and photographs of many of the
    hostage personnel. He knew he would be working against the hostage
    situation in Iran.
    2. (S) At the time of the session, the viewer was told that he
    would be trying to locate Alan B. Golacinski. The viewer was shown
    the attached photograph and was asked to locate and describe the
    surroundings of the individual in the photo.
