a. You may recall that we reviewed the program with Dr. Jones at USD(A
request after the briefing to DEPSECDEF and USD(A).
b. The only issue that surfaced ateither session was the e"ternal fun
qUestion, which the DR raised with the DEPSECDEF.

SG1J called with a rumor from LA that Dr. Anita Jones, DDR&
is very negati7l@,-@ star Gate and opposes continuation of the program.
a. We agreed that the rumor doesnft ring true, and I Faxed George a cop
Mr. Berbrich's Higgins of 4 June summarizing Dr. Jones' professional
professional reaction to the Star Gate briefing.
b. George will attempt to set up a meeting with Dr. Jones this week so
can address her questions directly. (She will be out of pocket next week.)
will also inform PS.
2. 1 don't like to pass rumors, but wanted you to know soonest about th
sensitive issue.
