Coroner ID’s man killed after being struck by a train in Delano

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET)– The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified the man who was killed after being struck by a train last Monday.

The man is now being identified as 64-year-old Gregory Rene Jackson Sr. of Delano.

The accident occurred south of 10th Avenue near Glenwood Street, according to the Union Pacific Police Department.

Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene.
