ACHSAH

ACHSAH, daughter of Caleb, who promised to give her as a reward to him who should take Kirjath- Sepher.  Othniel, his brother's son, having taken that town, married Achsah, and obtained from Caleb the gift of a field having upper and nether springs — a valuable addition to Kirjath- Sepher, Josh. xv. 16; Judg. i. 12.
