A native of Pavia, also a Jesuit, obtained great distinction as a commentator. He taught in the colleges of his Society in different parts of Italy, and died in 1656. His Brevis Expositic Sensus Litteralis totius Scripturae, in two volumes folio, has gained him the character of having been one of the most judicious commentators of his communion. He wrote also upon Scripture Antiquities.
