The Original Douay-Rheims translation of the New Testament was made in 1582.  I have transcribed the original version and given it modern spelling, but I have kept it as close to the original as possible.  I have also provided Bishop Richard Challoner's 1749-1752 revision of the Douay-Rheims side-by-side with the original, with no changes in the spelling of the Challoner version.  The reader will find that in some cases I have provided a linked glossary for some of the words found in the original Douay-Rheims translation that are very unusual to the modern English reader.
